As a freshman she took "Spanish & Entrepreneurship" and did her service learning work with Latino youth in a local school. That summer she interned through the "Spanish & Illinois Summer Internship" program with the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in downtown Chicago. The Chamber hired her back each summer (out of their own pockets), and she is going to work with them full time after she graduates in May 2009. Kelley is doing her senior thesis on Language and Culture Issues in the workplace.
