Simon Fraser University Launches Certificate in Dialogue and Civic Engagement in Fall 2009. If involving citizens in your plans is becoming central to your work, this innovative program is for you. Learn to think critically and creatively about the range of approaches to civic engagement. You will be guided by skilled and knowledgeable faculty/practitioners on effective ways to plan and implement a range of engagement models. The program includes four core courses, a choice of four skills workshops and a Practicum.
The first series of courses and workshops begin in September 2009 and run until the end of April 2010. For more information about the program and application forms, please check the website for details:
